on 21 august 2007 jenny lewis, the intimately soulful lead vocalist for the l.a. band rilo kiley released their fourth l.p., the stylishly intimate under the black light.  the thing that i find so appealing about jenny lewis is her dexterity and ability to reinvent her style of music through each album if not each track.  this album, like all of her previous endeavors is a combination of a little bit country, a little bit rock and roll, a little bit disco and a lot of indie pop bliss.
