jenny wasn't always the indie rock glamour queen you see before you today.  she began her career in a jell-o commercial and as a child actor appeared in such films as: troop beverly hills; big girls don't cry, they get even; and perry mason: the case of the defiant daughter.  although i have never seen any of these screen gems, i would have to assume that she made the right choice in leaving acting for music.
