austin's white denim, made up of james petralli (vocals, guitar), joshua block (drums), steve terebecki (vocals, bass) and austin jenkins (guitar) combine psychedelic rock, blues, punk rock, progressive rock, soul, jazz, experimental rock with a dyi jam based recording style.

the band members met in early 2005 after separately gigging at austin's beerland and immediately began playing the local circuit while recording "punk-infused, psychedelic blues-rock in joshua's 1940s spartan trailer".

in 2008 the band released their debut us lp, exposion and were named "best new band" at that year's austin music awards.

on september 23, 2010 the band self-released 12 tracks titled last day of summer and around the same time added austin jenkins as a second guitarist.

the band wrote in their liner notes that "this record is something we made as a little summer retreat from our ongoing work on the third full length. many of these tunes have been bouncing around since the formation of the band back in 06.  we were super pumped to utilize a few fresh and casual musical approaches on this record."

as always, please buy this album from your local independent music store by people who know and love music and not from retailers like wal-mart (soulless, globally-homogenizing, community-killers) or i-tunes (albums should be listened to as an entire composition with album cover and liner notes in hand).  incidentally, these two companies sell more music than any other retailer in the united states.  that my friend, bites.
